Health Coach
First and foremost, my bio will tell you what I have done, but not what we will do together. I truly believe that all change comes from a knowing of self and I am honored to collaboratively coach you in that pursuit.
My educational background was developed by my desire to understand the human body and assist people in their ability to use their own. I studied both exercise science and psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
I had the great opportunity to coach endurance athletes which has included working with the professional and amateur athletes. As I worked in this field, I grew an appreciation for what the body was capable of and looked for ways to help maintain that function. I pursued massage therapy licensure and currently practice cupping therapy, deep tissue and myofascial release.
As I continued in my pursuit of understanding health, I completed a precision medicine fellowship that allows me to coach with awareness of epigenetics.
Between working with athletes, providing bodywork and leading teams I grew a profound curiosity for why the mind and body interact the way that they seem to. I continue to pursue education around mindfulness and the awakening to self. I am fascinated with behavior change and our potential to experience this life..
