Carl Seger, MD

Physician

Dr. Carl Seger is a board-certified emergency physician. He lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and is originally from Wyoming. He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Wyoming and then completed medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. He completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah where he was a Chief Resident and went on to do a fellowship in Medical Education.

Dr. Seger spent 15 years working in emergency departments in Utah, Colorado, Alaska, and Oregon. Over the course of his career of caring for patients with emergent conditions, the importance of connecting mind, body, and spirit to heal the entire individual has become very clear. Five years ago, Dr. Seger began practicing personalized preventive medicine and it has become his passion. In addition to his commitment to longevity medicine, he is dedicated to offering safe psychedelic-assisted therapy with embedded personal integration resources in a way that optimizes each patient’s experience and outcome. He has received in-depth, specific training on trauma-informed care and spiritual integration from Naropa University in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Seger enjoys outdoor activities including trail running, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and three children.
